Environmental Improvement

Green Energy – We striving to be Carbon Neutral. We produce 15 MW of clean energy / day through Solar and Wind energy. Our consumption is 10 MW / day and our surplus is diverted back into to the State government grid Water initiative by Rain water harvesting. We have a rain water harvest system which we utilize in drought periods. The factory have a programme where they plant saplings in and around the community to contribute to the preservation of the ECO system.

Our Environment Is Important. Lets make a greener future.

ETHICAL TRADE

At Bags By Shaye we recognise the responsibility that we share with our suppliers to buy, produce and sell our products in an ethical manner. We strongly believe that when human rights are respected and ethical standards are consistently delivered, this can improve worker wellbeing, productivity and quality, which benefits both our suppliers and our customers

Our Ethical Trading Policy and Ethical Trading Code remain at the heart of our approach to monitoring, managing and mitigating human rights risk in our supply chain, setting out key rights for workers, including wages, working hours, safety, freedom of association and discrimination. We operate a risk based, due diligence approach supported by the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex), and where higher risk is identified we require suppliers to demonstrate compliance with our Code through the provision of independent third-party ethical audits.

Collaboration with external partners plays a key role in our approach as the issues we face are often complex and complicated. Bags By Shaye is actively engaged with it’s suppliers to drive a positive change in our supply chain.
